"Gardens United" Garden Walk

The Eighth Annual "Gardens United" Garden Walk will be held on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ten unique gardens throughout the area will be featured.

The gardens highlighted this year include: Ellie & Dean Bartels, Georgi & Terry Johnson, Una & Herb Shorter, Leslie Musser, Linda Buss, Diane & Jim Dawson, JoEllen Bergagna & Dan Britton, Peggy & Robert Mitchell, Dawn & Lynn Wilson, and Mary & Bill Edwardson.

Ticket outlets include: Midwest Bank-Main, Midwest Bank-Branch, Anne's Garden Center, State Bank, Stephenson County Visitor's Bureau, Lily Pad, Rock Run Peddler, Celia's, Country Girl Floral, and Deininger's.

We are also taking orders for Big Apricot tulip bulbs. The cost is $10 per dozen. Pick up date is September 25, 2010.

Last year's Garden Walk raised over $9,000. Proceeds benefit the agency's programs and services. We wish to thank all the gardeners who devoted so much time and effort in getting their gardens ready for the walk, local businesses who sponsored the walk, and volunteers who helped out in any way during the days of the event.
